Gordon Merrick ’39 was a prolific and hugely successful writer of gay fiction in the 1970s and 80s. Joe Ortiz *03, associate professor of English at the University of Texas at El Paso, will share stories of Merrick’s life and gay life at Princeton in the 1930s. Ortiz’s biography of Merrick is forthcoming.
