Vecchi, director, the High Meadows Environmental Institute, professor of geosciences and the High Meadows Environmental Institute, and deputy director, Cooperative Institute for Modeling the Earth System. Panelists: Jane W. Baldwin *18, assistant professor of Earth System Science, UC Irvine; Cleo Chou *16, senior natural climate solutions advisor, United States Agency for International Development; Joseph Majkut *14, director, Energy Security and Climate Change Program, Center for Strategic and International Studies; Lisa Fernandez ’83, associate director, Yale Program on Climate Change Communication, Yale University; Stephan A. Fueglistaler, professor of geosciences and director of program in atmospheric and oceanic sciences and director of Cooperative Institute for Modeling the Earth System.

Is it getting hotter? Are storms changing? What’s causing this? What can we do? HMEI Director, Gabe Vecchi will moderate a panel discussion and audience Q&A about climate change, its causes and impacts, and what it means for humanity. Faculty and alumni with expertise on climate change will discuss what is known and what they wish was better known about this urgent and important topic.
