SUMMARY:Shadow of a Pilgrim: An Apostate Walks Two Caminos in Spain
DESCRIPTION:Tom Connell\, an inveterate walker\, describes the two Caminos he walked in northern Spain\, the world-famous “French Camino” in 2014; and a year later\, the “northern Camino” that follows the rugged coastline of northern Spain. Both routes begin in France\, cross the Pyrenees mountains\, and then head west 500 miles to Santiago de Compestela\, the capital city of Galicia province where the apostle St. James is said to be buried. Tom will reflect on the personal growth and spiritual nature of the walk\, and offer advice to any planning a similar pilgrimage. \nSpeakers \nTom Connell ’71 \n  \nSponsored by the Class of 1971
