Drop-in Safe Space for All Survivors of Assault and Update on Campus Reform Efforts

May 26, 2023 @ 2:00 pm - 4:15 pm

Terrace Club
2nd Floor Library

PIXR welcomes you with refreshments and solidarity. This is the group’s first survivor-centered gathering at Reunions, providing community support for alumni who have been affected by interpersonal violence (particularly on campus), and holding a dialogue about efforts to improve students’ experience reporting such violence to the University’s Title IX office and receiving support for their safety, healing and well-being. Returning to Princeton can be an emotional time for alumni who experienced violence at Princeton – you’re not alone! This event is a relaxed and supportive space where you can be among people who understand those feelings, emotionally equip yourself for the weekend, and share what’s on your mind (if you choose). PIXR will also share, and gather feedback on, its efforts to reform the experiences of survivors on campus, and to combat the culture of sexual misconduct. Feel free to bring someone with you. Co-survivors and allies to survivors are welcome. Everyone is asked to be respectful, compassionate, and mindful of all attendees and the event’s purpose.

We apologize that we could not reserve a venue without stairs or with an elevator. Please email us (princetonixnow@gmail.com) if this affects you and you would like peer support.
