Parking and Transportation

Parking & Transportation

The 2026 Transportation & Parking Map is forthcoming.  Please check back in early 2026.

GENERAL CAMPUS PARKING INFORMATION

With the addition of the Stadium Drive Garage and the Meadows Drive Garage opening, Reunions parking options on campus have expanded.  That being said, attendees are still strongly encouraged to use hotel shuttles where offered, transit, or carpool when traveling to campus to avoid traffic and potential re-routing if a campus parking lot is full.  Additonally, ridesharing wherever possible is encouraged.  Uber and Lyft are readily accessible and provide a reliable transportation option.

Those driving should expect traffic delays and/or to be redirected to overflow parking in lots, particularly if arriving on Friday afternoon or Saturday morning.  Parking professionals will be onsite to direct arriving vehicles to lots:

  • Theater Drive garage and Lot 20
  • Stadium Drive Garage (with shuttle service)
  • Meadows Drive Garage (with shuttle service)
  • Prospect Ave garage and adjacent lots (no shuttle service)
  • Overflow lots at Lakeside Apartments and Lawrence Apartments (with shuttle service)
  • Grad College Lot 19 (limited shuttle service)

Alternatives to campus traffic and at-capacity lots include parking at the Princeton Junction train station in West Windsor and taking the Dinky to campus. Parking is available for $7 daily (including the option to park for multiple days overnight) with the Dinky running all day and well after midnight on Friday and Saturday. Roundtrip fare is $6. You can find more information about West Windsor Parking here, and look for the Dinky schedule here to plan your trip. Additional, but limited, parking in town includes:

  • Most on-street meters are free of charge after 8:00 pm
  • There are public garages on Chambers, Hulfish & Spring Streets

ACCESSIBLE TRANSPORTATION & PARKING

The University is committed to safe and easy transport options for all individuals. Fully ADA-accessible TigerTransit buses will provide frequent transportation around campus (view map). Should you need further curbside assistance, please review the accessible transit services webpage to arrange van service during Reunions.  This is a limited, first-come, first-serve accommodation, and advanced reservations are highly recommended.

There will be ADA parking available in the north end of Lot 20, with access to frequent golf cart transportation to Forbes College and other Reunions sites.

CAMPUS ACCESS

There is no access to Elm Drive for any personal vehicles during Reunions.

HOTEL SHUTTLES
A list of nearby hotels that are typically serviced by shuttle buses in addition to other local lodging options has been curated. Please visit the Hotels page for more detailed information.

CAMPUS SHUTTLES

On campus, a circulator shuttle will provide connections from the Stadium Drive Garage to the transit plaza, Forbes College and the Old Guard, and most Reunions sites via the periphery of campus throughout the event.

TROLLEYS

It is expected that 38-passenger, ADA-accessible Tiger Trolleys will operate on a continouos loop within campus during Reunions. Precise stops and timing throughout the weekend will be updated later this fall.

TAXIS & RIDE-HAILING SERVICES

To prevent congestion on Elm Drive and other campus roads, all taxis and ride-hailing providers (Uber, Lyft, taxis, etc.) are restricted from entering main campus.

Anyone wishing to use a ride-hailing provider may be picked up or dropped off on Alexander Road immediately adjacent to Princeton Station or along the campus perimeter.
