Gen. (retired) David Petraeus and Anne-Marie Slaughter will engage in a timely conversation on the importance of durable peace, what it would take to guarantee Ukraine’s security, sovereignty and democracy and how an unchecked Russia could challenge the West. Drawing on his comprehensive policy and strategy experience, Petraeus will share insights on Ukraine’s remarkable resilience, adaptability and strategic innovation as well as Ukraine’s lessons for the Pentagon. With Slaughter’s expertise in U.S. foreign policy, multilateralism and global partnerships, the discussion will offer a compelling assessment on what Ukraine’s struggle and fight may reveal about the shifting global order.

Speakers: Gen. David Petraeus (U.S. Army, retired) *85 *87, partner, KKR; chairman, KKR Global Institute; and former director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA); with Anne-Marie Slaughter ’80.
