Building Solidarity without Hate: Contending with Antisemitism and Liberation Movements

May 24 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Frist Campus Center
Room 302

Moderator: Aron Goldman*01, trainer/advisor, ABFE: A Philanthropic Partnership for Black Communities. Panelists: Nyle Fort *21, assistant professor, African American and African Diaspora studies, Columbia University; David Mednicoff ’82, director, Middle Eastern studies, University of Massachusetts Amherst; Andrew Wilkes, chief policy and advocacy officer, Generation Citizen.

Jews, Palestinians and so many people around the world are in pain, scared and grieving right now as a result of the atrocities that began on October 7. Antisemitism has also spiked again — from the left and the right. Join an expert panel of Princeton alumni to decode the current iterations of antisemitism, and detach antisemitism from U.S. and Palestinian liberation movements in order to build international solidarity. This #PrincetonStar event is open to everyone.
