Creating Art / Creating Community

The Princeton Women’s Network Artist Group was formed in 2021 as a place for undergrad and grad alumnae artists to share their work, discuss practical and existential concerns in creating art and find support from other creatives. The multigenerational alumnae include writers, theater artists, visual artists, composers and filmmakers. For the past five years, members have met online once a month to talk about their creative endeavors, exchange ideas and organize group events and shows. Over the years, this group of talented women has morphed into a tight-knit community of creatives who celebrate one another’s wins and support each other in the joys and challenges of being an artist. Making art is hard. This group makes it easier. Join a discussion about how creativity feeds our identities as women and how being women feeds our work as artists.
Featuring Alisa Matlovsky ’76, Alice Eve Cohen ’76, Nikki Rosario Muller ’05 and Ann Herendeen ’77.
