Our panelists will share how their careers have truly honored Princeton’s unofficial motto, “In the Nation’s Service and the Service of Humanity,” most often in roles that have not been highly visible, but that show dedication to work that substantially enhances the public good.

Moderator: Bernardo Ferdman ’80, Ferdman Consulting.

Panelists: Lucy Carter ’80, director of policy and governance, Alameda County Office of Education; José Colón ’80, head deputy, Los Angeles County public defender; Marc Fisher ’80, senior editor, The Washington Post; Janice Weiner ’80, state senator, Iowa legislature.
