In this panel, we explore the politics of today’s global economy. To what extent do geopolitical tensions — including but not limited to U.S.-China relations — threaten economic integration? How might elections this year disrupt countries’ commitments to globalization? What are the prospects for cooperation among wealthy nations to address debt crises in Africa, Asia and Latin America? Panelists include Princeton faculty with expertise in the politics of global trade and finance, as well as alumni from the School of Public and International Affairs currently working on global economic governance.
